Did Not Attend (DNA) and Late Cancellation Policy

At our clinic, we aim to provide timely access to care for all patients. Missed appointments and late cancellations reduce our ability to offer appointments to other patients who need them.

Cancellation Notice

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we ask that you notify the clinic at least 4 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Late Cancellation and Non-Attendance Fee

Appointments that are missed without notice or cancelled with less than 4 hours’ notice will incur a $50 Did Not Attend (DNA) fee.

Why This Policy Exists

Late cancellations and missed appointments prevent other patients from accessing care and impact the efficiency of the clinic. This policy helps ensure appointment times are used appropriately.

Payment of DNA Fees

• The $50 fee must be paid before booking another appointment.

Exceptions

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. The clinic may waive the fee at its discretion in cases of genuine emergency or exceptional circumstances.

Repeated Missed Appointments

Patients who repeatedly miss appointments may be required to prepay for future bookings or may have restrictions placed on advance bookings.
